When your staff is limited in time and your NonStop Server must be initinitial configured, you could choose to let Continuous do the job.

We configure all basic software products on your NonStop Server. This includes:

1. Configuration storage devices, like volumes and tapeunits (including initial hardware and software load balancing)
2. Configuration communication devices, like E4SA, FESA, GESA, G4SA, SWAN (including setup of the initial TCP/IP, LISTNERs, TELNET servers processes)
3. Configuration of ServerNet Clusterswitches
4. Configuration of Expand lines (over IP, ClusterSwitches, ATM, X25 etc.)
5. Online or offline datamigration (online depends on available hardware)
6. DSM/SCM configuration
7. TMF configuration
8. TFDS configuration
9. SAFEGUARD configuration
10. VIEWPOINT configuration
11. VHS configuration
12. OSS configration
13. SPOOLER configuration
14. Installation of our own handy OSS profiles
15. Installation of our own handy TACL macros

The duration of the initial setup depends on the complexity of the environment and the size of the system. A subset of the listed configuration task is possible, when not al configuration tasks are required.

The 'Startup service' comes always with written documentation about the configured products.
